About Us
Made in Chorley
Lockdown Kitchen & Bar was formerly known as Lockdown Burger and dreamt up in 2021 by myself. I'm a Chorley lad, born and bred and for as long as i can remember all I cared about was food. Working in kitchens of land and sea across the world I gained a wealth of experience that i use every day. While the cruise ship was in winter harbour I had come home and then COVID-19 hit and changed my career path forever. Burgers have always been a core food for me and are a nostalgic food for so many people, during lockdown I just could not find a good burger near me - I had to change that.
After a month of research, kitchen renovations, seeking permissions and menu trials we launched from my house in February 2021. The stories I have from those days are unreal, from people waking me up at 10am on my one day off and waiting at my front door while I turned all the equipment on and made them their order, all the way to a very friendly Polish man eating one of our roast dinners in my back garden and everything in between. There's some things they tell you not to post online, that is definitely going to be one of them...

We have worked to package our meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of our meals into your home. We always love to see you in person, but even when we can't we ensure that your dining experience is top notch!
We always love to see you in person but for when we can't we have now started collection orders via our website or by phoning us on 01257228561 and delivery is available with our long time exclusive partnership, Chorley Eats!

We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. That's why we source our fresh ingredients from local suppliers. No matter what time of year, you can be sure you're eating the best of the season.
